Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. Applying for residency or employment constitutes acceptance.

1. Eligibility

Blink Of An Iye Recovery provides sober living housing for MEN ONLY, ages 18 and older.

Residency is not treatment. We are not a licensed medical, detox, or clinical treatment facility, and we do not provide medical care, therapy, or detox services.

Applicants must be able to live independently, follow the house schedule, and agree to the House Rules, Policies, and Expectations in full.

2. Program Participation

Residents participate in a structured recovery program built on the principles of the 12 Steps, including a daily routine, chores, curfews, and the mandatory weekly Sunday house meeting at 7:00 PM.

Residents are tested two (2) times per week using a U/A urine cup, and are subject to additional random urine screens and breathalyzer tests at the House Manager's request.

Groceries are provided for residents; the House Manager shops on weekends. Residents are responsible for preparing their own meals and cleaning up after themselves.

3. Payments

Program fees are due in advance on the agreed schedule and are accepted by cash payment or bank transfer via Zelle to R6drick@gmail.com.

Fees are non-refundable once a period of residency has begun, including in cases of voluntary departure or discharge for rule violations.

Non-payment may result in loss of bed and discharge from the home.

4. Sobriety and Discharge

Absolute sobriety from alcohol, illicit drugs, and unprescribed medications is required at all times.

A positive test, a refusal to test, or failure to provide a sample within two (2) hours is treated as a positive result and is grounds for immediate discharge.

Violence, threats, theft, weapons, harassment, or possession of prohibited substances on the property will result in immediate discharge and may be reported to law enforcement.

Residents discharged from the home must remove their personal belongings promptly. Property left more than fourteen (14) days after discharge may be disposed of.

5. Property and Personal Belongings

Residents are responsible for their own personal property. Blink Of An Iye Recovery is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

All medications must be disclosed at intake and stored in the resident's assigned lockbox.

Residents are financially responsible for damage they cause to the home, furnishings, or property of others.

6. Privacy and Information

Information submitted through applications and forms on this website is stored securely and used only to evaluate applications, staff the home, and communicate with applicants.

Driver's license images submitted with employment applications are stored privately and are viewable only by authorized management.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Limitation of Liability

Recovery outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Participation is voluntary and at the resident's own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Blink Of An Iye Recovery, its owners, managers, and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from residency or use of this website.

8. Changes and Contact

These terms and the House Rules may be updated at any time. Continued residency constitutes acceptance of the current version.
